Winnebago Software Company achieves high marks in quality audit to maintain ISO 9001 certification

Winnebago Software Company, a developer of library automation software underwent a rigorous quality audit by the Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) and received continuation of its ISO 9001 certification. The recertification audit takes place every three years, with additional external company audits conducted every six months.

In 1995, Winnebago was the first library automation company to receive ISO 9001 certification with TickIT accreditation. TickIT accreditation is a quality standard that applies specifically to software development. The accreditation means that Winnebago Software has developed and is following a stringent quality policy with criteria defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO 9001 certification with TickIT accreditation guarantees that all of Winnebago's products and services are developed under a quality system recognized and respected around the world. Winnebago customers benefit by purchasing thoroughly researched products that have been put through a documented battery of quality checks, all of which have been reviewed and approved by a respected, independent, international agency.
